3.12 GPA/ 162 LSAT -- HELP

Post by tigerteacher23 » Tue Jan 05, 2016 5:25 pm

Do I have any shot at going to a decent law school? My softs are decent, as I am a TFA corps member and have had numerous leadership positions as a teacher and corps member.

Any advice would be seriously appreciated. I'm really stressing out here.

What are your career goals and are you willing to retake?

My family is full of successful attorneys in Houston. At this point, I would really not like to retake. I'm a third year teacher who is very unhappy teaching and don't want to study for a full year without a full time job.

Career goals personally are to be a criminal defense attorney - I don't have to make a ton of money, but I would obviously prefer to graduate with as little debt as possible (though I have ~40k in grants to use that is not a debt).
