LOR Question

Post by drakeyboy » Sun Dec 27, 2015 3:31 pm

Probably a silly question but I'm going crazy over it...

I'm in the process of applying to schools, and only have 1 LOR, when most of my schools require 2. I requested another one around a month ago, sent reminders, it all seemed set and my professor was enthusiastic... still hasn't done it, though. Can I still apply to schools with letters incoming? What happens if it's an incomplete app? Thanks.

If two letters are required to complete your application, applying with letters pending will just have your app sitting at incomplete until the letter comes in. Even if you did submit, your application would not be reviewed until the letter came through. Best bet is to either follow up with the professor again or to try to track down another LOR
