Scholarship Negotiations

Post by joeycxxxx09 » Thu Dec 17, 2015 3:46 pm

Fall semester grades just came out and I was able to boost my GPA (up .11) with 4.0/19 credits from when I initially applied in November. I'm updating my transcript now and I was wondering if I should bring this to the attention of the schools when I start negotiating scholarships because I haven't had grades this high since I've been in UG but have had a strong upward trend since freshman year, or if I should just assume that they will see it anyway and not mention it. Thanks

Most likely the schools will see the increase in your academic GPA, but if you feel the need to inform, you can always write it in an addendum or supplemental application. You may also try contacting LSAC of at least one or two of the schools you are applying to see what they suggest.
