2) you're over thinking it.
3) if you have other interests, you can put them on there. It's an interests section not a psychoanalytical section.

You do not need an interest section for law school unless you have no work experience or you have a cool interest.

For jobs samething.

You don't technically need one, but an interests section on a resume for jobs can be extremely helpful, especially at OCI when it's one of the few ways that firms can distinguish you from other candidates. (This is entirely different from fields that aren't law.)

And OP, the point of the interests section is to spark conversation, so list things you can talk about. If that's all sports-related stuff, that's fine. Don't stretch to put something you can't talk about very well because invariably you'll get an interview who's passionate about that thing and will want to talk to you about it.

Yeah just put in things you can easily talk about. I had interviewers talk about my interests in about half of my interviews. I also had one cb interview with an old partner where we talked ONLY about yoga for 30 minutes. so don't put something down you don't know about
