The last optional essays question ever?

Post by edditb » Mon Nov 30, 2015 8:26 pm

Probably not but I thought I'd contribute. I'm mulling over writing them. I was thinking about touching on their public interest program just from the information on their website and including some student clubs I'd like to join, as well as maybe my interest in the school's city?

What about this idea that the top 6 schools don't need why X essays because of their prestige?

I wrote one to Chicago who ultimately accepted me. No one can really tell you for sure. Worst case scenario is they don't look at it and you wasted an hour writing two essays (assuming you are genuinely interested, which you seem to be).
