What does this indicate? scholarship opportunity? Application issue? Numbers are 160 lsat with 3.92 gpa. Have not been accepted at Villanova yet. I am both excited and nervous because I don't know what this is being done for.
Without knowing anything else about thus specific incident, this usually means they want to admit you over the phone and talk about you to you (sales 101). Perhaps encourage you to apply for an endowed scholarship. So be excited unless you weren't forthright on our application...in which case be nervous :)

On its face, it does not seem to be negative unless you were not honest and

forthcoming in your application. Other than that, be honest and professional when

speaking to the Dean of Admissions.

Do you have any gaps in your resume? He may be asking what you were doing if there is a 2-3 month gap. Either way, don't be nervous. It's probably a good sign if he wants more information.
