matters for lsat
diminishing returns above the 75th, but it makes some difference
i ran the numbers and posted a while back, just tried to find it in my post history but no dice
anyways i'd assume it's similar for gpa

what brut says makes sense. i was wondering about say.. 3.9 vs 4.0 and then say... 4.0 vs 4.1 in either of these scenarios you would be above practically every 75th in the country so it seems like if anything it might be good for a subjective "wow" factor but not much else.
