Addendum for multiple LSATs?

Hi all,

Would greatly appreciate any input this!

I've taken the LSAT 3 times: 164 (Oct '14), 164 (Feb '15), 169 ( Oct '15). I was very anxious/nervous during my first and second takes, which I believe affected my scores. There was also an hour delay during my first sitting, which I think worsened my nerves.

I'm not sure if my situation merits an addendum, since it seems like they're usually used to explain more severe cases (sick on test day, disruptions during the test, etc) . Though I do strongly feel that my highest score best reflects my ability (I was much calmer/more relaxed during my third take), and hope to highlight that if I can.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts :D

I have two takes in the bag. June 14 and June 15 with your low and high numbers (respectively). Although the timing is a bit different, I wouldn't think an addendum is necessary. I've already been accepted to a T14 (PVDBM) and my GPA is sub-3.5 and I didn't submit one. My guess would be that they will see your most recent take as the more recent representation of your abilities. Also, that they won't care because numbers...

I don't think you need to submit one. There isn't a huge discrepancy between the scores and schools don't care if you've taken the LSAT 3 times. If you had somehow taken it 5 times, I think that would warrant an addendum. General TLS wisdom is don't submit an addendum unless it's absolutely necessary to explain something really important. I don't think it's necessary in your case. Good luck!
