Top Law Schools

Hi there,

I am from France and have already completed a three year degree in law. I already started the long and harsh way to get into a US law school next year. However, i wonder which law school i should choose because my university grades aren't that good.In fact, law school in France is very hard and i don't know if you guys are familiar with the grading system but it is very drastic. I have no idea how to convert my grades to have my GPA but i think it is not very high. Therefore, what law school should i apply to in the US ? Are my chances to actually get into any law schools are comprised ? Are law schools more indulgent with international student ?

They roughly classify your undergrad grades to "superior", "above average" etc., and it does not matter as much. As long as you are not "below average", your admission prospect should be largely determined by your LSAT score, but your softs can play a bigger role than American applicants. You might not be a shoe-in if your LSAT is above median, unlike those with a GPA and whose GPA and LSAT are both above median, and you may expect dimmer scholarship chances.
