Before which holiday(s) are you planning on applying? Assuming the Winter holidays, you should read more closely the LSAC dates. Expected score release date isn't until January 5th, 2016. But to answer your question about fee waivers, you could be more proactive and try and solicit them yourself.

In my experience this wasn't very helpful. Most of the top schools do waivers through CRS or only give waivers for random things like TFA, so if you email them they'll just send you a link to their website.

But it's more helpful than sitting around waiting for one to come if you are trying to act on a deadline. The worst they say is "no". If nothing else, you send an email and save $70-$85. OP can visit the fee waivers thread and see which schools have given waivers based on solicitation.
