Wait to Apply or Apply ED Now?

I took the LSAT in October and I got a 166. I am signed up to retake in December. My goal is the University of Texas. Should I apply ED or wait till I get a new (hopefully) higher score.
UT median LSAT/GPA: 167/3.73
My median LSAT/GPA: 166/3.7X
Non-URM male
If I apply ED to UT, is there a possibility that I get outright rejected? Way I see it, I either get accepted or I get put on the waitlist where a higher score would likely pull me off the waitlist with the possibility of a scholarship/can use other schools in scholarship negotiations.
I know the standard reply is to wait and apply to multiple schools to increase scholarship negotiation leverage. However, with UT low price for in state, + 10k per year for doing ED, + living at (parents) home reducing costs, the cost of attending isn't prohibitively expensive.
Should I wait to apply or apply now?
