Better to apply sooner or later?

Hi All,
I am somewhat of a splitter (3.69, 180) applying to the T14, with my first choice being Harvard. According to a blog post I read (at http://admissionsbythenumbers.com), it states that as a splitter I have a 73.7% higher chance of admission if I apply in September over October and so on.
Looking at it, it seems like I have three options:
1. Apply now, with 1 academic LOR and 1 employment LOR, in time for September
2. Wait until I receive my second academic LOR, apply with 2 academic LOR and 1 employment LOR, sometime in October?
3. Apply now, then when I receive my second academic LOR send it to the schools (is this even an option?)
For some basic information, I am 15 months out of undergrad as of now, and will be over 2 years out of undergrad at the time I enter law school in 2016. Everything else in my application is ready to go now, and all I'm waiting on is that one academic letter of recommendation, which is taking a while. I know schools tend to frown on applications that don't have at least two academic LORs.
What say you? Does it hurt more to not have 2 academic LORs, or to apply a couple weeks to a month later?
