Question about character and fitness

I know law schools are going to ask about this, and I'm a bit worried I'm going to get dinged on a technicality.
I ended up deciding to stay in school for an extra semester to really polish up my honors thesis (I'm a financially-independent double major and had to work more than I anticipated that semester), but discovered after the fact that, since two of my classes that semester were thesis tutorials, and since I technically could not complete them that semester, I came in under the school's minimum number of completed classes for the semester and was placed on academic probation as a formality. My GPA was not affected, and I have no failed classes on my transcript. Obviously I'll write an addendum explaining the situation, but I want to know how significant an effect this will have on my application. I'd like to shoot for mid-to-upper T14, but I'd rather know ahead of time if that's going to be unrealistic.
