essays in addition to personal statement?

Post by jayashae » Wed Aug 12, 2015 7:42 pm

Where do I find the exact requirement/optional material required for an application for schools? Are previous year application requirements/essay topics available somewhere?

On the Why X essay, is it acceptable to use commonly used names for the law school? For example, if the first time you use the name of the school you say "Washington University School of Law," is it ok to just say "WashULaw" afterwards? Or GULC instead of Georgetown University Law Center? I've read that you should always refer to the school by its official name, but it sounds really awkward in a one page essay where you use the name several times.
