WUSTL to NY/Boston middle/big law firm

I will be applying to law school this fall, my GPA is not that great, since LSAT is decent, I have a pretty good chance into WUSTL with some $ according to Mylsn.com . Is either that or I will be applying to regional law school for a good price. I am pretty broke, so.
My families are living in Hartford, and they want me to move back to nearby area. My goal is Middle or big firm on the east coast(50+ firm), since NY is the second biggest market according to WUSTL aba 509, what is the chance i can land a job in the area?
Any thoughts?

If you do well (top quarter at least), you'll have a pretty good shot at nyc. Anything lower and you will have to hustle, but it's still possible I guess.

How about Boston? My top choice is Boston because is within driving distance..

My GPA is low, so very unlikely for any $, but I will apply anyways. Any other college in the area I should consider?

This. But honestly you'll be bugging out unless you're top 10%. While ~30% of WUSTL kids recently have been landing biglaw, that does not mean you're safe if you're in the top 1/3rd, 25%, or even 20%.
If you miss the biglaw/OCI boat, hustling will be all the more difficult when you're 1000 miles away, versus being able to intern/extern in Boston during the school year if you went to BU/BC.

People always flip out when this is said but I'll say it anyway:
Your English is really going to hold you back unless you can improve it. Getting big law from WUSTL would be hard enough as is, but add being ESL on top of that and it might be near impossible.
I just want you to have realistic expectations here. Your English might improve while in law school but honestly I would try to work on that first before starting down this path.

thanks for the advice. I been in U.S for past 7 years, I took many esl courses and Got all As without even studying anything. My speaking is fine since I did good in mock trail and many public speaking contest. Somehow when comes to writing and grammar I feel like I have learned nothing and there is not really a way to improve anything..
