So is it safe to assume that these numbers have continued to fall?TheProdigal wrote:Loyola University New Orleans

I can't wait until we start to update these. I know of one school that seems likely to go up +3 LSAT. Will be interesting to see after this up cycle.

He said "school," not "law center."

When do the medians typically get released?

A few schools will likely trickle out in Sept, then a deluge in October and November this year (because so many schools will want their up or stabilized numbers out for the recruiting season). Then in 2047 Stanford will release their numbers for 2016 class.Nachoo2019 wrote:MikeSpivey wrote:I can't wait until we start to update these. I know of one school that seems likely to go up +3 LSAT. Well, I am sure they do not want to rush matters...MikeSpivey wrote:A few schools will likely trickle out in Sept, then a deluge in October and November this year (because so many schools will want their up or stabilized numbers out for the recruiting season). So a 1 point drop in W&M. I guess that's because they increased their batch size. Not sure if we can read too much into it. Watsay people?
Anybody else knows any other school numbers?
By this time of the year, we generally have a new thread on LSAT and GPA medians.

I may as well share what I just tweeted:
Hearing of a number of law schools that are going to be up +1, +2, and even +3 LSAT points. Begging them to go public with it for you all.
I think I almost have one ready to share their numbers. Incidentally, can anyone guess why they don't like to even when it's all good and up?

they don't want to discourage people from applying? I know if I saw that I was at some schools 50th and then they all of a sudden go up three points, i'd be questioning whether an app their way was worth it.MikeSpivey wrote:I may as well share what I just tweeted:

Re: CLASS OF 2018 MEDIANS! (LSAT/GPA/Class Size)
other schools might get stingier and know that they may be able to up their LSAT points from last year? like, X law school has +2 LSAT then Y law school, ranked similarly, can tell their admissions office "shoot for +2" and then X law school won't get the ezpz rank bumpdietcoke1 wrote:they don't want to discourage people from applying? Wrong thread. There is a lot of discussion re your situation on other threads. Search "splitter." Also, there is lot of LSAT advice. My quick advice for you is get the best LSAT you can and then reassess. A 170+ could get you T14 or great money at a T1.Steven24 wrote:Hi there,
Looking at these new statistics gives me a little bit of hope in a sense. I did not do great in my undergrad as I struggled with figuring out what exactly I wanted to do.. I graduated with a low GPA of 2.5. I know.. it's below average. It's nothing at all to be proud of. Nothing has interested me more than the possibility of getting into Law school. I've been studying for the upcoming LSAT for February and plan on taking it in June in case all does not go well. My goal is to aim for a 160-165 as I feel like that is realistic.
What is the best school do you think I can get into with scholarships and such? My initial goal was St.Thomas in MN as it is local but if I can hit my LSAT score range, I'd love to go to Ohio State? Thoughts? Insight?
