Not ideal, but not fatal or even necessarily negative. Depends on the circumstances.

Not the poster you quoted, but just think about it for a minute. An ideal resume would have no gaps because you'd go smoothly from job to job or school to job, etc. That said, it's not that uncommon to have a gap, particularly for someone just out of school (or with a legitimate reason for just being out of a job).
If you can explain the gap (and 6 months is really not that long) with something, e.g., travel, then it's no big deal. Even if you can't, it probably won't hurt you.
Obviously, I'm no expert though.

Yeah ^
Having a two year gap with no work experience is weird, for instance, and would raise red flags. Smaller gaps aren't as bad and can be more reasonably explained if asked.

Get a 180 on LSAT and nothing else will matter, as long as you're not keen on YLS
