Addendum?

Long time lurker here, hoping you all could give some advice on whether or not I should write an addendum to address the following:

My freshman year of college I did not do very well academically -- but also not horribly. Two B-'s scattered in with a few A's and mostly B/B+'s. I probably finished the year with 3.4. I had all but forgotten this, since I later transferred and the school from which I graduated never included grades from my old university when calculating my GPA. But LSAC does, bringing my down my overall GPA. So should I write an addendum explaining these comparatively low grades? The simple explanation is that I was unhappy my freshman year, and so wasn't as motivated as I should have been. Perhaps that's self-evident, given that I transferred and later graduated from another school with a 3.7 (almost 5 years ago, so this feels like ancient history TBH).

Thanks in advance!

Probably better to avoid writing an addendum simply because many, maybe most, students experience some sort of adjustment difficulty during their freshman year of college.

I feel like there isn't any reason whatsoever to include an addendum for getting a 3.4, especially if you finished at your other school with a 3.7. Just focus on the LSAT (if you haven't already) and you'll be fine!
