Reapply? LSAT increase 168 --> 176

I applied to attend school in Fall 2015 and was happily surprised by my results. I was accepted to my dream school but with no scholarship. I decided to deposit there, but retook the LSAT in June to see if I could improve upon my score. I jumped from an initial 168 to a 176. I am going to attempt negotiating scholarship but I'm a splitter (3.4 UGPA). Would I be better off waiting a year and reapplying? Will having deposited hurt my chances at my dream school if I decide not to attend after all?
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

176 puts you in a whole new level. Before, you were reaching for the bottom of T14, and now you are almost certainly in with money at a number of them. Plug both sets of numbers into law school numbers and see the difference. My opinion, don't waste that 176. The school is far less likely to negotiate with you if you do not have other firm offers.

Yes definitely unless you can negotiate a lot of money from them now

Yes you should withdraw and re-apply. That's a whole different ballgame.

let your school know in no uncertain terms that you won't hesitate to withdraw and reapply if they don't give you enough rea$ons not to.

Pleeeeease take this advice, OP

there's a 0% chance you will regret reapplying, and a 100% chance you will regret not reapplying. No matter how exciting going this year is, it's worth the wait.
