December disadvantage

Hello all.
Very disappointed with my June results- 164, 5 points below my average. I have anxiety issues and am starting therapy/medication next week to hopefully help overcome some of that.

I feel as though I can do better if I can just put mind over matter and not choke again, but I'm not sure if I really want to take it again so soon in October. I'd ideally like to take it in December, but will that put me at too much of a disadvantage application-wise since it'd be later in the cycle? I only have around a 3.3 so I need all the help I can get.

My target schools were ND, Wash U, GW, and Emory, so I obviously need to retake to have a chance.

Taking a year or so to work, mentally prepare myself better for the LSAT and waiting till a future cycle is an option as well, although I'd prefer not too. All advice is welcome.
Thanks.

Not for those schools. You'll be fine. Obviously, have your application ready to send in the day scores are released.

No significant December disadvantage anymore. Take it when you're ready.

This. These schools still take apps and give out big $ to January and February applicants.
