my current GPA is 3.13 and I'm in my second year of university. There's two years left. Is it possible to increase my GPA to what it was (3.7 first semester) or even more? I want to apply to Yale. Thank you guys

Slim chance getting Yale if you can't hack the math to answer your own question.

i am taking a summer class now. I am aiming for at 4.0 in this class. Would it boost my GPA by a lot or not?

Seriously, this is super basic math that a grown adult should be able to do for themselves.

How? I tried average it out my overall GPA and it does out give what's written in the transcript.

If you want to improve that gpa, I advise you not to take anything quantitative

so if I get an A in this class (4.0) this summer and I have 3.13 is that going to make a difference on my overall GPA? No, I don't know how to calculate it. If I average both 3.13+4.0= 7.13/2= 3.565. Honestly this number looks to beautiful to be true so I don't based myself on that.

ffs. No, your one summer class is not worth the same as all of your other classes combined.

but it is still going to make a difference though right? what if in fall 2015 i get straight A's? Will that have a huge impact on the GPA itself?
