3.49 vs 3.5 LSDAS GPA?

Hello, I managed to screw up a couple finals and just missed the mark. I just finished my junior year, did some calculations, and my LSDAS GPA for this upcoming fall semester and application cycles will be a 3.49. I haven't yet taken my LSAT and I know the absolute difference between a 3.49 and a 3.5 isn't much, but is that distinction at all important to the likes of NYU, Cornell, Chicago, UVA, etc.? I could still take a couple online summer classes and boost it past that 3.5 if I need to, but I don't want to bother unless it'll make any real difference in my shots at admission or maybe even scholarship money. What do you guys think? Thank you.

Negligible unless it's the difference between being above/below the school's median.

Doesn't matter

As stated above, the most important concern is how your GPA relates to the median GPA at a particular law school. Nevertheless, for the law schools mentioned in your post, it would be better to raise your GPA as much as possible with the summer courses because a 3.49 & a 3.50 are low (bottom 25th%) for Chicago, Cornell, Virginia & NYU.

Screwed me over for scholarships at NYU a few years back but unlikely to matter.

The only non-median number that matters is 2.99 to 3.0.
