One of the individuals I would like to write my LOR was not a tenured professor at my university. He was technically an "adjunct assistant professor", but he worked with me in several classes and we have a great relationship-- so I feel like he would be a fantastic candidate. Will it matter to schools that he wasn't a tenured professor?
As a side note, he spent many years as a lawyer and judge before becoming a professor, if that matters.
