Financing law school through savings and loans

Choices:

Columbia - Sticker
NYU - Sticker
Duke ($54k scholly - no additional money gained via negotiation)
Cornell ($90k scholly - negotiation not yet attempted)

Goal is NYC BigLaw or consulting. Leaning toward Duke, but NYU and Columbia are dream schools of mine.

Thoughts?
Everyone will tell you to retake, and they'll be right.

If you want NYC big law, Cornell is a great option at a good price. Do you have any offers larger than Cornell's from any other schools? I would try to negotiate with them as much as possible. Whats your COA?

Also, try showing NYU & Columbia the Duke/Cornell offers. They might budge, they might not, but its worth trying.

Re-take in order to get a scholarship at Columbia/NYU.

If you are in a rush to go to school now, I would go to Cornell. It does great placing students into elite jobs in NYC, and the lay prestige is a bonus. See if you can get Cornell to up its offer to 120k.
