Common for Schools to Revoke Scholly bc Multiple Deposits?

Post by pancakes » Thu Apr 02, 2015 10:31 am

I received a letter from Villanova stating they will revoke my scholarship if I put down multiple deposits. I will not be attending there, but I'm wondering is this common for other schools? Should I be concerned about the other two schools I'm in between?

I wouldn't say it's common, but it'a a practice that certainly exists - call the admissions office of the other schools and ask about their multiple deposit policy, there's no harm in doing that.

This is basically a duplicate of your other thread, so I'm locking it. If you would prefer the other one locked and to have discussion in this forum, let me know and I'll switch it.
