I will have 2014 data up within hours of the ABA releasing it. The problem is the ABA won't be releasing the data for at least a month. End of April is the absolute best case scenario.

Penn's c/o 2014 info is already posted on their site
I doubt many other schools already have, but I haven't really checked

Wow Penn with 70% in firms of 100+. They don't break out clerkships between federal and state but even if they put no one into Fed clerkships that's impressive.

They killed it this year for sure.

Turns out the ABA summary is on there too so we can see Fed clerks. 100+ and Fed Clerk for Penn 2014: 78%. Solid work Penn.

Wow, whatever Penn is doing other career service departments need to take note. Based on these numbers, attending Penn looks very appealing.

Penn has a relatively small class size and it feeds into NYC big law. When NYC-focused corporate hiring is strong (as it has been of late), Penn is going to do great. It's basically the same factors that explain Cornell's strong employment numbers relative to its peers.

Not sure how accurate this is but I heard from someone who works in a career services department that all schools will have c/o 2014 data up on their websites by April 15th.

This is probably right, but things are a little complicated this year.

Is that just because of the 10 months instead of 9 months out requirement or are there more juicy details?

The schools probably have the information at this point. It might be a good idea to ask the schools for their Class of 2014 report before putting down a deposit.

Would it make a difference if someone says yes? Seems like a pretty straightforward proposition

True, but it seems like a non-sensible question if they're eventually publishing the numbers in May or April. I agree, I'd love to see the numbers but I'm not sure I'd have the courage to hit up each school for the figures looking a bit impatient.

Yeah, just 10 months out. There should have been more juicy details, but the ABA Section of Legal Ed Council cowered.

Sorry, I'm ill-informed on this topic. Are they changing the reporting guidelines so that schools have to report where people are working 10 months out instead of 9 months out? Was this change done to increase the % employed statistic?
