Hi all,

If I am looking to withdraw my applications from schools, do I just send them an email indicating I wish to withdraw, or is there a more formal process?

Thanks!

Nope, that's all you have to do. Here's what I sent:

Dear [DEAN] and the Admissions Staff at the [LS] School of Law:

After careful consideration, I have decided to withdraw my application to [LS] School of Law.

I appreciate the time and consideration you have given my application, but I have decided to accept an offer of admission at the [Other LS] School of Law. If there is a formal procedure for withdrawal, please let me know. I wish you the best of luck in finding excellent candidates for the Class of 2016.

IIRC, I modeled it on a rejection e-mail I got from a different school.
