Top Law Schools

I know that the general advice is that the earlier you apply the better, but how worse are the chances of getting into a t14 school if you start the application now (early January). Assuming I have no other obligations (work/school) to work on them and prepare all the necessary documents, is it still well advised to just apply for next year?

Is there a big difference in applying early vs applying in February?

Any advice/insight on this would be very much appreciated.

It's still going to take a couple weeks to get all of the submitted transcripts and letters of recommendation added to your LSAC file, so you're looking at February at the earliest, and yeah, that's pretty late. Give it a shot if your numbers are great, but know that most of the scholarship money is going to be drying up over the coming weeks.

As far as getting admitted? Ya, spots are beginning to fill. As far as getting scholly money from already admitted schools? Nah I don't think so. People last year were getting some money in June and July (although don't wait that long).
