Hi, non urm 171 (dec lsat, cancelled oct 2014) 3.46 gpa from top 15 UG (premed). Decent softs, WE, research grants, etc. I am gunning for top 6. Obvi hys unrealistic. Lsat went horribly- just got really nervous. Pt average around 178. Should i takr feb lsat? Likely will get 175 plus. Planning on submitting apps on jan 6. Thanks

Got it. Are there any downsides if i score worse? Very unlikely, but covering all the bases

Probably not, since they'll only take and report the highest LSAT for their US News rank whoring.

There is no downside to retaking. Scoring lower wouldn't adversely impact your chances and you would be judged on the 171.

Yes, deadlines are deadlines. You would have to have everything submitted by then.

everything should be taken care of via the CRS. your app must be sent in with all documents by then. So, if on LSAC, you have 1)Reportable LSAT score 2) LSAC GPA via transcript(s) 3) CRS is taken care of (LOR's and such) and you've filled out all necessary Why X essays and PS', then you can go for ED.
In other words, if what youre asking is if you can apply ED and email them "hey, I'm taking the LSAT next month, so I just wanna apply now for ED but please hold my app until my score comes in" I don't really think they do that

THis is true buuuut this was decided long ago. Actually got an introduction to "actual law" and not the glamorous law everyone sees on tv. I love it. Have a degree in Biology started out in engineering and realized patent law just makes sense.

Why are you answering the question directed at the OP?
edit: scooped
