One school I am applying to has a specific clinic that I'd like to be in and I'd like to indicate that as a reason for applying because no other school in the area has that. I was going to submit a "why X law school?" but the school's application does not give me an option. It only has a section for the PS and an addendum for low GPA/LSAT.
Should I just forget about it? Or should I briefly mention it toward the end of my PS?

Is there a word/page limit on the ps for that school? If there is, then I would maybe consider emailing them the essay and asking them to put in on file (although I don't recommend this). Is they don't have a why x and don't allow to submit one, don't waste their time writing one.
On the other hand, if there is no word/page limit than maybe try attaching it at the end. But be VERY wary of this. It can mess up the ps and end up hurting you.
I guess my overall advice would be: don't submit if not asked for and if no space is there to submit one.

If there is no option for a Why X essay, then the school doesn't yield protect.
If you're over or around medians, don't worry about it.
