Decent Softs

Hey everyone, I know that the general consensus on this forum holds that anything short of curing ebola or winning a Nobel prize for softs won't make a huge difference in your application; however, I was wondering what the community would consider to be decent softs?

Like good internships? Exec board positions in extracurriculars? Volunteer work?

My personal experience. I served as a U.S. Marine, have a graduate degree from one of the best regarded universities in the world, and have worked in information security for over a decade, cummulating in managing the incident response team for a federal agency where the CISO wrote me a glowing letter of recommendation.

My results were almost exactly what one one suspect from my LSAT/GPA.

But I agree with Big Red, you would be better off asking someone who earned their living reviewing applications. You can find one of these threads here:
