Addendum Typo

Post by shamallama » Fri Nov 14, 2014 12:58 am

Just realized a typo in my addendum I have sent to most schools where I wrote choose instead of chose. I reviewed it a few times and didn't catch it because I read it as the later. However, a couple sentences later, I use "chose" correctly. It's the only typo I've found to my knowledge after reviewing my personal statement and all other materials again. I sent most of these apps over a couple of weeks ago, and are under review in some. While I initially had a little bit of a freak out, it's not a big deal right? I figure if I sent a revised copy everywhere it would call attention to something relatively small and irrelevant for the substance of my addendum. Maybe it's just me, but something so small and accidental shouldn't seem to have a significant impact on most of these schools decisions.

You answered your own question. I have a small typo on my Yale Post College Activities write up, which is about as irrrelvant as an addendum in judging your command of the English language.
