Definitely June retake then. You would have a good cycle, but I would rather try for a few extra points. You know how life changing that can be.imperspective wrote:Winston1984 wrote:I would retake in June. Don't worry about applicants rising. It's not like all of the lower T-14 are going to have 171 medians or something. Why can't you retake in December? Has registration passed?smiles123 wrote:I'd apply now and then retake in Feb. Based on numbers I'd say you have a strong shot at most lower T14 and waitlisted at T6 minus HYS. So I'd apply now, then resubmit your LSAT is Feb if you improve to help with $$$ and any waitlists you may be on at that point. But that's just my opinion.
Thank you guys, and the others who have replied. I am aiming for June so I can spread out my prep and be making money while I'm doing it, and the June test isn't so damn early! I thought about December, but I'm just not ready. I was involved in a political campaign until recently (as a sad Dem) so the LSAT is far away from my mind.

While I was pretesting near the end at 170+, I just didnt have it in me to take the test a third time and to study for the test around work. I know that everyone on TLS says retake, and maybe they are right and maybe I'll regret it one day, but so far I havent and have been happy with my decision. While I havent heard back from any T6, so far I've been accepted to UVA, Duke, Berkeley, Michigan, and Georgetown.
My two cents based off of my experience.
