Thinking about when to apply to law school

Hello everyone-I'm happy to join the board and I'm looking to apply to law schools, but am trying to decide whether to start now or wait a year or so. I have a 3.96 GPA and a 164 LSAT, but want to go to a top 10 law school. My thinking/question is this-with the GOP expected to take back the Senate come Tuesday, would it be better to wait a year or so since the economy will obviously improve now that the clown will have the chains back on him, thus of course leading to less grad school applications overall and an improved legal market going forward? Thanks!

Even if the economy improves, you'll still have law school debt with that LSAT score.
Retake.

That clown probably did better than you on the LSAT. Retake, especially since your 3.94 keeps you alive everywhere.
