Should twins apply to the same law schools?

Hello. I am new here but am hoping a few of you can shed some light on a question my twin brother and I have been struggling to answer. Here is the situation:

We both majored in accounting and minored in finance at the same undergraduate school. I had a 3.93 gpa while he had a 3.94 gpa. I have 170 lsat while he has a 171 lsat and both of us have a little over a year of work experience at the same big four accounting firm in New York. We are also both involved in the same volunteer and hobby activities.

We both would like to apply to all T14 schools but are concerned that since we are so much alike that all of the schools will either take my brother over me since he has the higher gpa and higher lsat, or not take either of us simply because the applications will be so similar.

Because of this doubt, we are thinking about applying to only 7 of the T14 schools each. We would much rather apply to all 14 however, since this doubles the chances of either of us getting accepted, and also will allow us to go to the same school (shocker right?).

Can anyone please let me know what the chances of getting accepted would be if we both applied to the same schools? Thanks a lot.

Which one of you has better hand to hand combat skills? I think by law only one of you is allowed in so you'll probably have to face off in thunderdome.

Also how does it feel to always be one step behind your brother?

This is a 179 thread. It'd be a 180 thread if the other twin OP'd.

Strangely, I actually know twins with identical stats & experience who applied to the same schools. Didn't affect their cycle.

Why wouldn't they want to admit both of you? Schools care about numbers. The 170 vs 171 is the only thing that might cause one of you to be admitted and the other not.

If he's better at life than you, then you somehow fucked up. Same DNA and same environment. No excuses.

You should both write diversity statements about the unique perspective you'd bring to the law school.
