Sending application with a future LSAT date

I sent in my applications last night and 3/4 school application statuses either say "Complete File" or "Application Received." My application to my fourth school says "Incomplete." This is because I put a future LSAT date (February), thinking that would help my case. I figured if the admissions committee thought that my application was strong, minus the LSAT score, they would possibly wait list me until they get my score in Feb. Does this mean they won't even consider me (Admitted or Wait listed) until they see my retake?

They will consider you, but you likely wanted to boost your application because you weren't an auto-admit. So it is likely they will wait before receiving that score before filing an official decision (short of being auto admitted, which I don't think is the case for you here).

Does this mean that if I submit applications and state that I want to hold them for a future LSAT retake (Dec), that they will still consider it for admission? I thought you just went into a hold purgatory without any type of review. If so, that sounds like a great plan--you get to take a gamble without fully committing.

Let them know you have a future LSAT coming. It depends on the school, some will just hold it but others will review it.
