Not exactly, they are closing the Ann Arbor campus, not the school. There are still 3 other locations.patogordo wrote:they get their money back and don't have to graduate from cooleybutlerraider1 wrote:lol good point...can't help but feel sort of bad for the students thoughMcAvoy wrote:Yep, you didn't really need to qualify thatbutlerraider1 wrote:great newsimo

It's place in the top 5 is clearly in jeopardy.jarofsoup wrote:Wait.....important question not asked yet.....how will this impacts ranking in Cooley's influential Judging the Law schools ranking?

Yeah, it's more that they prey on applicants who often should not be going to law school and force them to pay just as much as a top school. A lot of the students at Cooley are not going to be successful attorneys not only because of the school and its poor reputation, but also because of their own intelligence, work ethic and backgrounds. Cooley knows this and tries to get those people through the door.patogordo wrote:i mean i'm sure the legal education at cooley is just as good as most places.
I couldn't get past the second question. My heart sank at "150k." I think it made me a little ill actually.ThePlanMan wrote:This news led a recent Cooley grad to do an AMA on the law school subreddit. He's 150k in debt, failed the bar, and is "appreciative of his education." It is kind of an interesting/sad read.
