I took the September lsat today and know I did much worse than my average scores during PTs. I will be retaking in December. I have not applied to any schools yet. So when I get my September score will the schools I have currently on my list but not applied to still view my score? Or can I submit my file now and tell them to not review it until I get my December score?

If you haven't submitted an app, the schools won't see your score yet. If you submit your app but tell them you are scheduled for an upcoming administration, then they will likely hold until you take it.

thank you for the response. do you happen to know how i go about asking for a hold? Is it normal for schools to hold or does each school have a different policy?

schools will not be looking at your score until you submit an application. so just don't submit yet. if you don't submit, nothing needs to be put on hold.

(note: schools will run their crs algorithms for scores of course, but nobody is going to actually take an interest in you irrespective of what your score is if you don't apply; they'll just shoot out generic emails)
