Hey,

If one has a 3.7 GPA, non URM and good letters of rec what would be a competitive LSAT score for T9-14 provided that this person applies very early in the cycle?

T 9-14 is such an odd distinction, but the medians range from 167-169, whereas over 170 would clear their 75 percentiles.

TCR is as close to 180 as your full potential allows.

max out your lsat, get into the 170s, and blanket the t14
there's no good reason to only target schools below whatever usnwr decided 8 was this year
letters of rec won't make a difference
if you want to play around with numbers go to mylsn.info

166+ would probably get you in, but unless you have rich parents or the GI Bill, you don't want to just get in. You want a huge discount off of sticker price. So aim for the 170s.

A 170 would get you in with significant scholarship money.

A 166/167 would give you a good shot of getting into Cornell/Georgetown at the very least.

Dont take the test until 168 is your bottom lsat score on prep tests. You will probably get your bottom lsat score on test day.

170/3.7 will net you nice scholarship packages at all of those schools except maybe Michigan (and of course Georgetown). 168 or 169 will get you in, but the realistic figure for making it "worth it" from a financial perspective would be 170.

Can we cut this shit out, TLS? I scored way above what my PTs would indicate. I doubt many people scored their absolute minimum on PTs. If your PT range is 168-178 that means your LSAT score will likely fall in that range. It doesn't mean your LSAT score will be 168.
