Top Law Schools

I'm a current TFA teacher applying to law school. (No, I didn't do TFA for the perceived soft value.) I know there have been a few threads tangentially on this subject, but I was curious what, if any, soft value TFA has in admissions.
This question is primarily for former CMs who've applied to law school, but I invite anyone with relevant observations to respond.

It won't get you in anywhere above what your numbers are. If you're at a mylsn threshold where half the people get in, it might push you in. Or it might not. I think it's better than k-jd but it's not some supersoft.

I also think veteran = strong soft is flame...at least at Harvard. 9 us vets out of 560 students.

I know that's just one anecdata point, but I would say undergrad prestige + not terrible work experience > vet.

In terms of supply and demand, tfa kids are a dime a dozen since they make so many every year (kind of like lawyers generally) and tons of them apply to law school.

Like others have said, it doesnt make you a lock by any means. But it will probably make people slightly more disposed to let you in.

Honestly, law students and lawyers suck so much that even TFAers are a breath of fresh air.

Also I really love the naked insecurity that flows through this forum. Almost everyday I read something that warms my heart with passionate loathing .
