Letter of Recommendation question

Post by Username123 » Tue Sep 09, 2014 5:43 pm

I applied two cycles ago and decided not to go to hold off on law school. Retaking this September and re-applying as early as possible.

For that last cycle, I received rec letters from two professors, dated in the fall of 2012. Do I need to ask these professors to write another rec letter for me or can I submit the rec letter from my previous cycle? The content of the letters probably won't change.

Thank you!

Nope, you can use the old letters. It doesn't matter that they were a written a little while ago and in fact, it may be to your advantage that they were since the longer you wait, the more likely it is that profs will forget you if you're no longer on campus.
