Depends on the numbers. 170 and a 3.7 is a lock for the bottom half of the T14 now and so on.

If it is your dream school, why not ED? If your gpa/lsat are questionable (per your splitter situation), then ED might be the way to secure an acceptance. If your stats were terrific then it should not matter… you’re in either way.

If you're rich enough that your parents seriously don't have any problem paying 250k, then go for it. But we could give better advice if we knew more about your splitter status and which T14s you're targeting.

Sure, if money is really no issue at all, then there no harm in EDing your top school.

Most people don't have rich parents, though.
