I was going to watch it, but I went out drinking instead. Anyone see it and want to update me on the DL?

The main idea was "Develop a Theme" in your PS. Don't start PS with "I was born...", don't repeat your resume, don't throw everything you have ever done in it, select an activity or event that defines you, how you reacted to this particular event, how this particular experience shaped you into who you are today, how the qualities that you developed as a result of this activity can serve as a foundation to becoming a good lawyer. Create a compelling story. It takes about 2 months to write an excellent PS.

Wow, thanks! 2 months sounds a bit absurd, but everything else is nice to hear.

If it takes you longer than 2 weeks to write a good personal statement, you are over thinking it
Honestly I think the most important part of the process is figuring out what you are going to write about. Which side of yourself do you want to showcase to law schools- this is the crucial question you should spend time thinking about. Once you figure out a good theme for your personal statement, it shouldn't take too long to write a good essay.
Also, don't forget to have a person (or two) look over and edit your essay.
