I will be graduating in December and am currently enrolled in the Bachelors of Professional studies program with a concentration in Criminal Justice. I have spoken to several different law schools who all say that graduating with a BPS is no different than graduating with a BS or a BA as long as it is a Bachelors. I just want to know if that is true or will my chances of acceptace be negatively impacted?

Do you go to a for-profit college?

Yes it is a private for profit school.

BA, BS, BP. BFA, bba whatever they call it won't matter. The fact that you will have a degree from a for-profit school could cause you to under-perform your numbers, though.

Institutional skepticism of for-profit institutions by traditional universities. Depends on where you're applying, obviously. Cooley won't care but many decent schools probably will.

I just checked the school's official site and they say they are non-profit...I've always felt they were LOL but would it make a huge difference since they are in fact a non-profit school?

I would think it would make a pretty big difference over a for-profit school. If your degree is from an accredited nonprofit, then your GPA will be what matters, not your degree or major.
