4.18 LSAC GPA Question

My LSAC Academic Summary Report states that my GPA is a 4.18. I'm wondering:

1) What does this translates to on a 4.0 scale? I tried to calculate it on my own and I think it would be a 3.86? But I'm not sure.
2) When law schools provide a GPA range (ex. 3.7-3.9) for admissions, is this range out of the 4.33 scale that LSAC uses or out of the usual 4.0 scale?

These may be extremely obvious questions, but I'm not familiar with the GPA system. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Whatever lsac says is what your gpa is that gets reported to school. 4.18 is a 4.18 on a 4.0 scale lol. You must have had some A+s at whatever school you went to.
