4th take in two-years

I posted this in the prep forum earlier but realize that this forum is probably more relevant.
Took lsat 3 times last year with cancel-160s-160s. Underperformed in the last test. Was planning to apply this cycle. It's disappointing.
The two-year rule will permit me 4th take next Dec. How to do the 4th take this year?
Without a take this year, I miss admission cycles for my target schools. Does lsac consider it a reason for retake?
Some threads here about LSAC denying fourth take seem terrible.
