Took lsat 3 times last year with cancel-160s-160s. Underperformed in the last test. Was planning to apply this cycle. It's disappointing.
The two-year rule will permit me 4th take next Dec. How to do the 4th take this year?

Without a take this year, I miss admission cycles for my target schools. Does lsac consider it a reason for retake?

No, that definitely wouldn't qualify for a waiver of the rule. That's pretty much everyone's core reason. As I understand it, the LSAC now only grants waivers for things like serious, proctor-documented disturbances/irregularities in the testing center (construction on the floor above the testing room, fire alarm going off for several minutes, and so forth). If you've been able to take three LSATs under standard conditions, they're not going to waive the rule.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, you're saying you took the LSAT three times in 2013 and that you will next be eligible to take the Dec. 2015 test. If I'm understanding you correctly, then you're misapplying the two-year rule. You don't have to wait until all of your takes are outside of the two-year window -- you just can't have more than three takes in any given 24-month period. If you took the June, Oct., and Dec. 2013 tests, then you will next be eligible in June 2015 (it doesn't matter that the June 2015 test date is two days earlier than the June 2013 test date).

I realize this doesn't help you apply this coming cycle, but you will be able to retake early in the 2015-16 cycle, not in Dec. 2015. And, if need be, you can retake in Sept./Oct. and Dec. of 2015 as well.
