My current cumulative GPA is 3.33. I just graduated from community college and will go onto a four-year.

With a 3.33 GPA I have about 1 C/C-/C+/C+ (first semester, I messed up like many other freshman do) and 1 D (Chemistry, not my thing, no interest. Had to take it as elective). My GPA was a high like 3.8 my second semester and fell down 3.33 when I graduated.

In my four-year school, I'm planning to get A's here and there with a total number of credits of maybe 145-150 to boost it up to 3.7. or a LITTLE under hopefully.

I am hoping to apply to Cornell, NYU, and Fordham law schools here in NY. They all want GPA's of about 3.65-3.68+ and LSAT of 165-170+

Say my by the time I get my Bachelor's my cumulative GPA will be 3.68-3.7 and I have a good LSAT score.

1) Do you think although I've boosted my GPA a lot, they will look at the C's and D and not bother?

2) If so, will a high LSAT make up for it?

Sticker is like 250-300k. That's a bad idea in general, and especially at Fordham, where most of the class will not get jobs that will allow them to make those payments. Fordham is a fine school if you're going at a huge discount, but it's not even close to being worth full price. Personally, I don't think any law school is worth full price.

If I was targeting NYC Big Law and was a little bit of a splitter, I'd be aiming hard at Cornell with a fat scholarship.
