Letters of Recommendation from Undergrad or Masters?

Post by boomah » Thu Jun 19, 2014 8:37 am

Hi all,

I recently graduated undergrad and will be starting a one-year master's soon, after which I hope to apply to law school.

Would it make more sense to get rec letters from my undergrad professors, or from my MA program professors? I know that law schools give more weight to undergrad GPA, but does that also apply to rec letters?

Thanks.

As long as the letters are academic, it doesn't matter whether it's your undergrad or grad profs. Whoever will write you better letters.
