Law School and Median

Post by The Avatar » Sun Jun 15, 2014 10:45 pm

The school I want to go to has the following medians (cumulative):

--LinkRemoved--

2011-3.57
2012-3.56
2013-3.65

Average Lsat Score-162

If my cGPA is in the high 3.5's-3.6, what are the odds of my acceptance?

Well, you're right at their GPA median, so the obvious question is "what's your LSAT"?

This is impossible to say without your LSAT. Once you have your LSAT you can easily get some odds from online calculators or LSN.

Given the admission medians and what type of school that means it is, you should be thinking more about scholarship money than merely being accepted. LS is too expensive.

Neither of those is really good for Canadian schools.

Lets say hypothetically I get a 162-165 Lsat score. I know a 165 will actually guarantee me in. But I find the test hard.

you should feel really good about your chances with a 162+

and very uneasy with a 161 or below

Oh, well, then nevermind.

Everyone finds some aspect of the test hard. That's why you study.
