These are the results of my retake.

From California, but really enjoyed my visits to Texas and wouldn't mind practicing in the area after graduation.

I'm having a difficult time coming to a decision but found this site immensely useful throughout my application cycle so I thought I might ask.

What are your debt levels upon graduation?

For one, Texas is king of a relatively strong market. Irvine is the ugly stepchild of a saturated market.

Secondly, nobody cares about the scholarship size. Cost of attendance matters. You can live in Texas cheaper than California, as a general rule. Texas is also slightly cheaper on tuition such that you might be looking at the same overall scholarship.

Of course none of that really matters. They're both regional schools. If you want to work in Texas, Texas is one of the best schools for that. If you want to work in California, retake, probably.

Since OP is from Cali, he's only paying like 5,000 a year in tuition and fees at Irvine.

OP, what is it you want to do? BigLaw, PI, etc.? How many times have you taken the LSAT? Any ties to Texas? You need to answer these types of questions before people can give you accurate advice.

Invariably, you should probably retake the LSAT. An AA URM with a 3.5 and even a 164+ LSAT would be in a pretty good spot in terms of money from the T14.
